Our Global Health Mission

The mission of Children’s Hospital Colorado is to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy.

This mission was established in 1908 and today our mission remains the same, but we recognize the need to improve the health of children not only in Colorado and the U.S., but around the globe.

The vision for the global health program at Children’s Colorado is to provide infrastructure to support global efforts in clinical care, research, teaching and advocacy that have substantial and sustainable impact on the global community.

In short, we want to provide care to all children, “irrespective of sex, creed, race, nationality or place of birth,” just like the volunteers who built our foundation over 100 years ago.
